a note from the founder

Hi!! After working in fashion tech, I felt a gap in the services that actually help people get dressed day to day. We have influencers to recommend outfits they’re most likely getting paid to pose in, expensive personal shoppers or celebrity stylists, and a growing number of AI based apps that can recommend clothing based on learned patterns, but not the rhythm of every day life and the emotions that often come with it.

Enter: The Cult Edit. I love fashion. I’ve always found a lot of identity in the historical significance of different trends, in the power it gives you to subvert expectations or layer cultural references until your outfit feels like a perfect amalgamation of you. But there’s a lot of other parts involved with getting dressed, too. There’s the chaos of online shopping, the need to factor in body type, the ever present trend cycle, and the strain all of that puts on ones budget.

I’ve found a lot of confidence in developing my personal style, and I want others to feel the same way. The Cult Edit is a fashion-tech informed, yet completely personal process to help achieve your dream style.

I want having a personal stylist, who actually gives you the tools to get dressed with confidence, to feel accessible and fun.
